Ten Most Wanted Fugitive Ryan James Wedding
[The episode opens with a darkly emotional track, seemingly led by piano.]
Narrator: Earlier this year, the FBI added former Olympic snowboarder and Canadian national, Ryan James Wedding, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Wedding is wanted for allegedly running a transnational criminal organization that put thousands of kilograms of narcotics on our streets—and for allegedly orchestrating multiple murders related to these drug crimes.
The Department of State is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Wedding.

Narrator: Ryan James Wedding was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. At the age of 21, he competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, placing 24th in Giant Slalom snowboarding.
But Wedding’s life took a turn when he went from shredding powder on the slopes at the Olympics to distributing powder cocaine on the streets of U.S. cities and in Canada.
In June 2024, Wedding and his second-in-command, Andrew Clark—also Canadian—were charged with running a continuing criminal enterprise, murder, and conspiring to possess, distribute, and export cocaine.
In September 2024, a federal grand jury in Los Angeles returned a superseding indictment naming 14 additional defendants. Wedding, Clark, and others allegedly conspired to ship bulk quantities of cocaine—weighing hundreds of kilograms—from the U.S. to Canada through a Canadian-based drug transportation network from approximately January 2024 to August 2024.
Cocaine shipments were transported from Mexico to the Los Angeles area, where the drug operatives stored the cocaine in stash houses before delivering it to couriers for transport to Canada via long-haul semi-trucks.
In addition to drug trafficking, Wedding’s organization is allegedly responsible for multiple murders starting in 2023.
Wedding and Clark allegedly directed the November 20, 2023, murders of two members of a family in Ontario, Canada, in retaliation for a stolen drug shipment that passed through Southern California. Another member of that family survived the shooting but was left with serious physical injuries.
On May 18, 2024, Wedding and Clark allegedly ordered the murder of a victim over a drug debt.
Clark, as well as Malik Damion Cunningham, a dual Canadian-American citizen, were charged with the April 1, 2024, murder of another victim in Ontario, Canada. And while Clark was arrested in October 2024 by Mexican authorities, Wedding remains a fugitive at large.
Due to the violence and destruction that Wedding is allegedly responsible for, he was added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Wedding is 6’3” tall and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair and may wear a beard and/or a mustache. He is 43 years old. He also goes by the names “El Jefe,” “Giant,” “Public Enemy,” “James Conrad King,” and “Jesse King.”
